Dental equipment manufacturer Convergent Dental has appointed Dr. German Galluci, PhD, a professor of restorative dentistry, to its clinical advisory board.
Gallucci’s research spans digital dental technologies, implant dentistry, and fixed prosthodontics and has been published in peer-reviewed international journals. He is a fellow of the International Team for Implantology and a member of the Academy of Osseointegration and the European Academy of Osseointegration.
According to Convergent, Gallucci is conducting research using the Solea dental laser to evaluate its use with enamel and dentin across varying power settings and exposure times as well as comparing the strength of laser-etched bonding techniques with conventional acid etching.
