This symposium is designed to update participants on new concerns and issues on AIDS, HIV infection, and the practice of dentistry with a focus on geriatrics. Emerging issues in the oral care of the geriatric patient including those that are HIV positive, and new recommendations for immunizations for healthcare personnel will be discussed.
