The CaviSense dental caries detection device.CaviSense.
CaviSense, a Harvard/Tufts spinout, will exhibit at the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) Annual Session, May 21-24 in Las Vegas, demonstrating its 10-second diagnostic sensor for identifying interproximal active demineralization before lesions become radiographically apparent.
At Booth No. 104, the company will also preview a full-mouth tray system designed to screen for active tooth demineralization across the entire dentition in 30 seconds. Both devices are radiation-free and are designed to integrate into pediatric office workflows, according to CaviSense.
Pediatric dentist Dr. Adam Silevitch, an early CaviSense adopter, will appear at Booth No. 104 on Saturday, May 23, at 11 a.m. to discuss the technology. CaviSense will also promote virtual lunch-and-learn sessions for pediatric practices at the meeting.
