Publish a helpful, interesting e-newsletter

Where do your patients learn about home care, exciting new treatment options, and other dental subjects? If they're not relying on your practice for all this information and more, consider creating a monthly or quarterly electronic newsletter. This is an excellent way to provide valuable information to patients, promote your complete range of services, and build a stronger practice/patient relationship.

Do

Keep it simple yet informative. Many templates are now available that will enable you to create an attractive, easy-to-publish, and inexpensive e-newsletter. Include brief articles on oral health issues, tips, explanations of common treatments, patient case studies or testimonials, and staff background and achievements. Put yourself in the minds of patients when deciding what to include.

Don

Don't forget patients who lack Internet access. For those who will not have access to your newsletter electronically, pin up the latest copy on a bulletin board or in the reception area where patients will see it -- and have copies available for interested patients.
