Dentsply Sirona has named Daniel Scavilla, MBA, as its new president and CEO, effective August 1, following the departure of Simon Campion, PhD, MBA, on July 31.
Scavilla has over 30 years of experience in medical technology and pharmaceuticals and recently led Globus Medical, where he oversaw its merger with NuVasive. Also, he spent 28 years in leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson and joined the Dentsply Sirona board in February.
