The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) has announced the 2026 winners of its member recognition awards.
The honorees will be recognized at AAPD 2026 in Las Vegas, which starts on May 22. The awardees include:
- Pediatric Dentist of the Year: Dr. Homa Amini
- Heber Simmons Jr. Distinguished Service Award: Dr. John Rutkauskas
- Jerome B. Miller “For the Kids” Award: Dr. Harlyn Susarla
- Merle C. Hunter Leadership Award: Dr. Jessica Robertson
- Manuel M. Album Award: Dr. Brian Hodgson
- Dr. Lewis A. Kay Excellence in Education Award: Dr. Colleen Collins Greene
- Suzi Seale Coll Evidence-Based Dentistry Service Award: Dr. M.S. Muthu, PhD
- Paul P. Taylor Award: Dr. Murad Alrashdi
- Dr. Ann Page Griffin Humanitarian Award: Dr. Hani Eid
- Early Career Dentist “Under 10” Awards: Drs. Jacqueline Burgette, PhD; Matthew Keckeisen; Kathryn Pawlak; Scott Schwartz; and Jessica Sliger
- Resident Recognition Awards: Drs. Aubrey Fleming, Cristin Haase, Subechha Khadka, and Rata Rokhshad
