Velmeni for Dentists 3D has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The imaging software aims to assist dental professionals in reviewing and analyzing dental cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans through artificial intelligence-assisted anatomical segmentation, visualization, measurements, and image reconstruction.
By bringing 2D dental radiograph analysis and 3D CBCT intelligence into the company’s platform, Velmeni is focused on building a more connected dental AI workflow, Velmeni said in a press release announcing the approval.
