OSAP releases material for infection control awareness month

September is Dental Infection Control Awareness Month. To mark the occasion, the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) will be releasing free materials throughout the month.

The materials include checklists, frequently asked questions, scripts, and white papers. Each week in September will focus on a different aspect of infection control:

  1. Hand hygiene
  2. Dental waterlines
  3. Personal protective equipment
  4. Instrument sterilization

Both members and nonmembers can access the free content from the OSAP website. The organization will also post resources on social media throughout the month.
