Dr. Tom Giacobbi returns this week with another tip for every dental practice. This time, he's focusing on compliance and how your practice can stay at the top of its game.

"Let's take a minute to talk about compliance.
"The most important thing about compliance is you've got to start with somebody in the practice that's going to hold everyone accountable, especially when it comes to new hires. They need to get them up to speed.
"And when it comes to the existing team, hiring an outside consultant can be a great way to start by having a compliance audit. This will get everybody aware of where the shortcomings are in the practice and help them focus on doing better moving forward.
"Documentation is your friend, just like your clinical notes. Let's get out there, get compliant, and have a great day. Now, let's get back to work."
