The third annual Oral Health Prevention Summit (OHPS) returns to Boston on January 27, 2027, bringing together oral health and medical leaders, clinicians, researchers, educators, public health professionals, innovators, and industry partners to help shape the future of prevention.
This year’s think tank is themed “The Convergence of Prevention: Where Science and Systems Intersect.” It will explore how emerging science, technology, and care systems can support practical, prevention-centered care.
The program will feature keynote speaker Dr. Brett Kessler and the return of the Prevention Ecosystem Workshop, which focuses on implementation and how prevention-focused innovations can move into practice. Confirmed speakers include Dr. Linda Vidone; Dr. Joel Berg; Melissa Turner, RDH; and Jessica Woods, MPH, RDH.
Topics include medical-dental integration, payment and coding, dental AI literacy, salivary diagnostics, the oral microbiome, minimally invasive care and practice profitability.
“The Prevention Ecosystem Workshop gives us a chance to focus on the work that comes after a promising idea,” said Woods, an OHPS founding board member.
“Prevention can’t advance in separate lanes,” said Turner, also a founding board member. “We need clinical care, science, technology, payment, and the people delivering care at the same table.”
Registration is open, and limited exhibitor booths remain. Details can be found here.
