New campaign educates about oral health and diabetes

Colgate has partnered with the American Diabetes Association and former NSync member Joey Fatone to help raise awareness about the link between oral health and diabetes with the 30 Days of Laughter campaign.

The digital campaign includes videos, social media posts, and apps to make the diabetes community laugh while also educating about the importance of maintaining healthy teeth and gums. The campaign will be using #30DaysofLOL on social media. Colgate is focusing on its Colgate Total toothpaste as part of this campaign. The campaign began on November 12 and continues until December 11.

"When my father was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, our family was shocked. But we're a big, loving group, and we all help him together every day," Fatone stated in a press release. "I know that humor in the face of challenges is vital, and I'm excited to share that with other families touched by diabetes."
