A dentist arrested on 39 invasion of privacy charges for allegedly planting a surveillance camera in a staff-only bathroom at his dental practice in West Virginia will face a trial in May, according to a story recently published by WTOV 9.
Dr. Jeremy Crow, owner of Crow Dental Associates in Weirton, WV, is scheduled to face trial on May 26, according to the story. If convicted, Crow faces up to one year in jail plus a fine of $5,000 for each criminal count.
In May 2024, an employee contacted police after reportedly discovering a hidden surveillance camera placed inside a water bottle in a staff-only bathroom at the practice.
Further investigation revealed that at least 10 women employees reported seeing the same water bottle device in the staff bathroom, according to reports. However, police confirmed that they have uncovered no evidence that indicates secret cameras were placed in the bathroom used by patients.
In May 2025, 15 former employees, who worked in roles such as dental hygienist and front-desk employee and who were not identified, filed individual lawsuits against Crow. In addition to the women claiming that Crow stole their dignity, they accuse him of sexual harassment.
A criminal complaint is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
