Septodont, a global dental pain management company, and Dentroid, an Australian medtech startup, have announced a global development and commercialization partnership centered on Dentroid's patented Nuralyte technology.
The partnership aims to bring noninvasive pain management solutions to dental practices worldwide, addressing both procedural pain and the dental anxiety that drives many patients to avoid care altogether.
Dentroid, founded in 2017 in Canberra, uses photonics and robotics to develop alternatives to needles, drills, and sprays. Septodont, which has a presence in more than 120 countries, will contribute its commercialization infrastructure and pain management knowledge.
