Clear aligner developer Candid has appointed Dr. Lou Shuman as an executive consultant and chief development officer and Dr. Brian Gray as chief dental officer.

Dr. Brian Gray.The company's leadership team, which also includes recent hire Dr. Ben Miraglia as vice president of general practitioner clinical education, said it plans to release a host of new features and enhancements soon.
Candid said it has grown its provider business by 500% after discontinuing its direct-to-patient clear aligner operation.
