DentKits, Dentistry.One partner on dentist-reviewed at-home dentures

DentKits, which provides custom dentures made without a dental office visit, and Dentistry. One, a virtual-first oral health platform, have announced a partnership that adds clinical review and authorization to every DentKits case.

Under the arrangement, patients sign up on the DentKits platform, receive an impression kit, and complete the first steps at home: impressions, smile photos, and medical history. DentKits creates the patient record and submits the case to Dentistry. One, where a licensed dentist reviews the photos, impressions, and medical history and prescribes full or partial dentures when indicated.

The findings are shared with the patient and DentKits in an oral health report. After the dentures are delivered, patients connect with a Dentistry. One dentist through a live video consultation. When in-person care is needed, Dentistry. One coordinates referrals to local providers.

"DentKits built its model on a simple promise: skip the office, not the dentist," said Brant Herman, co-founder and CEO of MouthWatch and Dentistry.One. "A licensed dentist reviews and prescribes every single case."

Kevin Early, founder and CEO of DentKits, said the partnership extends dentist oversight to every case nationwide for people kept from a dental office by cost, distance, or mobility.

Dentistry. One was developed by MouthWatch Inc. More information is available here.
