Cadent, a provider of 3D digital solutions for the orthodontic and dental industries, announced that it has signed distribution agreements and began sales with Henry Schein, Benco Dental, Burkhart Dental, and Goetze Dental.
Under terms of the agreements, Henry Schein, Benco, Burkhart, and Goetze will market the Cadent iTero digital impression system to the more than 100,000 dental professionals they collectively reach every two to three weeks, according to Cadent.
In 2008, the iTero installation base increased to more than 600 systems, and the company experienced a 500% increase in case volume, the company said. iTero users have an extremely high utilization rate, with more than 90% of their impressions conducted digitally, according to Cadent.
"In keeping with our philosophy of superior customer service, this distribution network provides dentists with a choice of distributor in every U.S. market," said Cadent CEO Terence Gunning in a press release. "Our distribution partners enjoy a close relationship with their customer base. We believe this distributor network will enable Cadent to rapidly accelerate market access to iTero."
