Throughout National Children's Dental Health Month this February, DentalPlans.com will match donations and host a pair of social media fundraising campaigns to raise funds for Operation Smile, a charity that provides free reconstructive surgery for children born with facial deformities.
Starting February 1, DentalPlans.com is hosting several Facebook "showdowns" pitting celebrity smiles against one another. Each fan's vote for their favorite celebrity smile equals a $1 donation to Operation Smile, for up to $1,000.
On Twitter, DentalPlans.com followers can tweet a random act of kindness they perform during Random Acts of Kindness Week, February 13-19. For each random act of kindness tweet that includes a smile :-) and tags @DentalPlansCom, DentalPlans.com will donate $1 to Operation Smile, for up to $500.
In addition, DentalPlans.com will match up to $1,000 in donations made on its Operation Smile fundraising page in February.
