Sage Dental has signed a partnership agreement with Straumann Group to offer its patients artificial intelligence (AI) remote orthodontic treatment monitoring.
The agreement will give Sage Dental patients access to Straumann's 3Shape Trios intraoral scanner, as well as to that company's remote dental monitoring service, which uses AI with patient-provided photographs to track orthodontic treatment without requiring patients to come into the office.
Straumann will provide Sage Dental with clinical training, patient education information, and marketing support, the two firms said.
