Dental service organization (DSO) Heartland Dental has acquired Smile Design Dentistry, expanding its presence in Florida.
The transaction gives Smile Design-supported offices access to Heartland’s technology, including its AI tools, Curodont remineralization, Invisalign, and iTero scanners, as well as training and operational support.
Heartland now supports over 3,100 doctors in over 1,880 locations across 39 states and the District of Columbia. Smile Design Dentistry’s network includes 60 practices across Central Florida and Tampa Bay.
