Cloud-based dental software provider Planet DDS has partnered with predictive analytics company Truro AI to embed machine learning into its Denticon practice management platform through a new feature called Denticon Insights.
The tool is designed to help dental service organizations (DSOs) and practices identify high-risk appointments at the time of scheduling, flag patients who need proactive outreach, and locate patients with overdue hygiene visits or unaccepted treatment plans. Planet DDS said the goal is to reduce no-shows, ease front-desk workload, and help practices capture revenue tied to lapsed care.
The integration was developed with Park Dental Partners, which piloted the tool before a broader rollout. Denticon Insights has also been added to the Planet DDS API, allowing third-party patient engagement and AI vendors to build on the predictive data.
