The U.S. Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) has named Michelle Lee as its vice president of external relations and policy effective April 6.
Lee will lead government affairs, advocacy, and partnerships to support workforce development and promote dental assisting.
Previously, Lee served as executive director of the Association for Dental Safety (ADS). She helped establish the ADS Institute for Dental Safety and Science to provide infection-prevention guidance. Additionally, she held leadership roles in staffing and practice management, including serving as the CEO of DDS Staffing Resources and the president of Avery Partners.
