Sun Life U.S. has appointed Tony Mollica as the president of its dental business, including DentaQuest.
He succeeds David Healy, who was named president of Sun Life U.S.
Mollica will lead strategy across the company's Medicaid, commercial, and Medicare Advantage segments, as well as affiliated Advantage Dental+ practices. His responsibilities include market strategy, membership and retention, and managed care development.
Mollica joins Sun Life from Humana, where he most recently served as its CEO of independent care health plan. Also, he held clinical operations and product leadership roles at UnitedHealth Group.
