Benevis, a pediatric dental service organization (DSO), will host its 11th annual Sharing Smiles Day on May 31, offering free dental services to uninsured children and adults across 10 states.
Participating practices in Connecticut, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia will provide dental exams, limited emergency care, extractions, and restorative treatments at no cost to patients without Medicaid or private dental insurance.
Dental cleanings will be available in limited cases. Volunteers will also distribute oral health education resources. Space is limited, and families can register at SharingSmilesDay.
Since its launch, Sharing Smiles Day has served more than 3,800 patients. Benevis, which manages 1.3 million patient visits annually across more than 100 practices, focuses on serving Medicaid patients. This year's event coincides with National Smile Day.
