U.S. Bank has launched a startup loan product for dentists and veterinarians launching first-time practices, expanding access to financing for clinicians at early stages of their careers.
The product, which launched earlier this year, offers conventional lending to qualifying dental and veterinary startups that meet the bank's experience, production capability and credit requirements. U.S. Bank previously offered loans only for practice acquisitions or for startups launched by existing owners.
"Our goal is to be the destination for doctors," said Joe Persichetti, head of healthcare business banking at U.S. Bank. "We want to make banking easy for them so they can focus on what's most important — their patients."
