Henry Schein is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Practice Pink, its global initiative uniting healthcare professionals, supplier partners, Team Schein Members, and nonprofit organizations in support of cancer research and prevention.
The milestone comes as the International Agency for Research on Cancer estimates that 1 in 5 people worldwide will develop cancer during their lifetime, with an estimated 20.6 million people diagnosed globally in 2024.

Since the program's inception, Henry Schein and its partners have contributed more than $2.1 million to cancer-related causes, advancing research, prevention, early detection, and access to care and programs supporting people affected by cancer. Customers can support the effort by purchasing pink products, including healthcare consumables, practice supplies, and apparel.
Jennifer Kim Field, vice president and chief sustainability officer at Henry Schein, said the program has shown what is possible when the global healthcare community comes together around a shared purpose. She said what began as an effort to raise awareness has grown into a meaningful tradition of collaboration among customers, supplier partners, Team Schein Members, and nonprofit partners.
Participating countries support organizations tailored to their local communities. In the U.S., Practice Pink supports Ronald McDonald House charities; European partners include Aladina in Spain, Cancer Research UK, KWF in the Netherlands, LILT in Italy, and Odyssea in France.
Practice Pink is part of Henry Schein Cares, the company's global corporate citizenship program, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
