VCS Medical’s oral topical anesthetic spray DentalJect has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance.
It uses a quick, drug-free cryogenic burst to numb areas of the mouth. DentalJect aims to reduce pain, fear, and wait times while improving patient comfort and streamlining dental procedures, according to the company.
