OSAP celebrates DICAM starting Sept.1

The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) is recognizing Dental Infection Awareness Month (DICAM), which starts September 1.

OSAP encourages everyone to “Stay in the Know Together” by posting infection prevention and control best practices, success stories, or selfies on social media and tagging the posts with #DICAM23.

  • September 4-8: hand hygiene
  • September 11-15: dental unit waterlines
  • September 18-22: instrument reprocessing
  • September 25-29: personal protective equipment
