United Concordia Dental has opened registration for its 2026 Toys for Treats program, now in its 12th year, and is inviting network dentists to participate in a Halloween-themed patient engagement initiative that promotes preventive oral health habits in children.
Participating dental practices will provide a $10 gift card to the first 15 patients age 12 and under who bring in approximately 1 lb of Halloween candy after October 31. United Concordia will supply enrolled practices with the gift cards and promotional flyers at no cost to the practice.
Registration is open through August 14, 2026, and is limited to the first 100 United Concordia network dental offices that sign up.
"Halloween provides a unique opportunity to start those conversations, and Toys for Treats turns a seasonal tradition into a teachable moment," said James Shade, senior vice president of dental network operations, services, and solutions at United Concordia Dental.
Practices can visit the Toys for Treats webpage to register.
