Vyne Dental, Zelis partner to modernize insurance payments

Vyne Dental and Zelis announced a partnership that is designed to help dental practices move away from paper checks and simplify insurance payment workflows. The companies say the collaboration will affect more than one-third of U.S. dental practices, offering faster digital payments, easier reconciliation, and greater visibility into claim performance, according to the companies.

Through the partnership, Vyne Dental customers will gain access to ZAPP Edge, which delivers electronic payments, as well as embedded payment data and performance insights from more than 550 insurance payers in a single portal. Dental teams can receive and reconcile payments more quickly, access detailed claims reporting, and better manage revenue cycle workflows, according to the press release.

Steve Roberts, CEO of Vyne Dental, said paper checks have long slowed down dental practice collections, and the Zelis partnership gives practices a direct electronic path to get paid faster while improving visibility into payment trends. Yusuf Qasim, president of payments optimization at Zelis, said connecting ZAPP Edge with Vyne Trellis brings payments, data, and insights together to simplify reconciliation.

Initial enrollment for practices affiliated with participating payers is expected to begin in the coming months, with broader availability planned for late 2026.
