"In every dental career, patients will leave a mark.
"Sometimes it's a painful mark, but when you have a patient with a challenging case or work that you need to redo, this can be very expensive continuing education, but the lessons you learn will only make you better. We do call it practice for a reason.
"The flip side of that are the patients that appreciate your great work, compliment your dentistry, and have nothing but gratitude at the end of the appointment. Those are the patients that'll get you to show up for work tomorrow.
"Now, let's get back to work."
