Henrik Roos has been appointed to the position of president of Danaher's Imaging Group. In this position he will have full responsibility for leading Danaher's worldwide imaging businesses, which include Dexis, Gendex, i-CAT, Instrumentarium and Soredex.
With this appointment there will be no change to Danaher's market strategy, the company noted in a press release. Each of the imaging businesses will continue to serve the dental markets with the existing portfolio of brands, supported by the current sales organizations and sold through the existing distribution partners.
Roos joined Danaher in November 2009 via the PaloDEx acquisition, where he was president and CEO. His earlier dental experience included leadership positions at Dentsply, Gendex/Rinn Imaging, and Orion.
Bob Joyce, outgoing president of Dexis, Gendex, and i-CAT, will be appointed to a new leadership position within Danaher in the coming weeks, the company said.
