Delta Dental of NJ launches tree-planting program

Delta Dental of New Jersey (DDNJ) announced the launch of Dentis-Trees, a program in which the company will make a contribution to the New Jersey Tree Foundation for each participating dental office that enrolls in direct deposit with DDNJ through October 1.

The goal of Dentis-Trees is to help the environment by saving trees and reinforcing the benefits of a paperless office. These contributions will support the planting of trees in New Jersey cities, according to Delta Dental.

"The Dentis-Trees program is all about helping dentists 'save green while going green," stated Keith Libou, DDS, chief clinical officer of DDNJ, in a press release. "The contribution we make to the NJ Tree Foundation on behalf of all dentists who enroll in direct deposit will facilitate the planting of trees in New Jersey cities."

The name of every dental office that signs up for direct deposit will be enrolled in a drawing, according to DDNJ. The name of the winning practice will be featured on a plaque placed near the tree, and the winner will also be invited to the tree planting ceremony.
