For patients with compromised or missing teeth, more than one treatment is often available. Dental implants have become routine in dental practice, but not every patient is a candidate for them. The dentist and patient must weigh the benefits of competing options to determine the best treatment. Dr. Harold Berk and Frederick Berk illustrate two cases in which different treatment options were used.
