The use of ICD-10 diagnosis codes in dental practice is still in the infancy period, according to Dr. David DePorter. However, the growing use is directly related to increases in government-related dental benefits programs, such as Medicaid and Medicare. Dr. DePorter has some advice to share on the potential benefits of diagnosis code use in the dental practice.
