Dental service organization (DSO) Heartland Dental has agreed to equip all of its U.S. locations with an Align Technology iTero Element intraoral scanner.
The multiyear agreement is the dental industry's largest scanner deployment and investment, according to Heartland Dental.
Heartland Dental has more than 850 locations in 35 U.S. states.
This is the second recent agreement between Align Technology and a large DSO, as the company recently announced a similar contract with Aspen Dental Management.
