Dentsply Sirona and HeyGears announced the validation of Lucitone Digital Print Denture resins for one-piece denture production on the HeyGears UltraCraft Multi-Material Fusion (MMF) DLP 3D printer.
The validation eliminates the need to bond denture teeth to the denture base, streamlining lab workflows while maintaining the durability and aesthetics of Lucitone materials, the companies said. The Lucitone Digital Print Denture System is available in 16 A-D plus two bleach tooth shades and five gingiva shades, with support for full-arch and partial dentures.
According to HeyGears, the UltraCraft MMF's one-piece, no-bond construction fully preserves tooth anatomy for natural occlusion, and its seamless surface inhibits bacterial growth. The validation follows an earlier collaboration between Dentsply Sirona and HeyGears to validate Lucitone materials on HeyGears printing systems.
