BioHorizons has launched the Pro Zygoma implant, a zygomatic implant system designed for full-arch rehabilitation in patients with severely resorbed maxillae. The product is the first addition to the company's remote anchorage portfolio, and it intends to give clinicians a predictable option for immediate placement without bone grafting, potentially reducing chair time and recovery for patients.

The system features two implant diameters for primary stability, a deep conical prosthetic connection, multiunit abutments with angulation options ranging from 17° to 60°, and advanced cutting flutes designed to optimize insertion torque.

BioHorizons says the implant is made from one of the strongest materials in its category. The launch will be supported with zygomatic-specific clinical education.

"This product launch allows us to offer more solutions to our customers, giving them a new, versatile option for providing life-changing treatment in dense zygomatic bone," said Steve Boggan, president and CEO of BioHorizons.
