Eric Shirley, president of the dental division of Keystone Industries, is an industry veteran who has seen the ups and downs that the dental industry has endured. Shirley believes there a lot of lessons that can be learned from years past that can help dentists and dental team members prepare for what could be a very interesting 2024.
As we detailed in a previous podcast with economist Brian Beaulieu, there are plenty of questions about what is to come in 2024 -- both from an economic standpoint as well as a staffing standpoint. However, Shirley spoke with me about what he is watching heading into the new year as well as why he believes baseball can be a perfect analogy for how things have changed within the dental business in the last few months.
You can hear by interview with Shirley, which was recorded during the Dental Trade Alliance's annual meeting in Bonita Springs, FL, by clicking here or clicking on the image below. Our interview lasts just under 16 minutes, and there are some good insights into everything from predictions for the new year to how the dental industry and dental practices can work more closely together.
This interview is part of the "Future of Dentistry" podcast series, which is powered by Keystone Industries.
