Lares Research has launched its Fluoresce HD handpiece technology that is designed to aid clinicians by helping visualize decay and aging composites.
The Fluoresce HD adds a 405 nm near UV light that can be attached to air turbines and electric contra angles and with the push of a button can alternate between white near UV light to easily spot decay and old composites, the company said in a release announcing the launch.
The handpiece reduces the need for dyes, probing, and imaging. It is Kavo Multiflex compatible and doesn’t require purchasing a new fiber optic handpiece. The handpiece and other products can be purchased directly from Lares Research.
