Omnivision has introduced the OCH2B30 camera module for 3D intraoral dental scanners.
It features a compact CameraCubeChip package (2.6 mm x 2.6 mm) and a mobile industry processor interface. The module includes a 2-MP metal oxide semiconductor image sensor built on Omnivision's PureCel Plus-S technology, thus enabling its small size.
Operating at a 1500 x 1500 resolution, it achieves 60 fps. At 720 p, it reaches 120 fps. Samples of the OCH2B30 CameraCubeChip are available now.
