Sage Dental has partnered with Forward Science to launch PerioStōm, a non-drug periodontal therapy designed to improve recovery after scaling and root planing (SRP).
Using chitosan microspheres, the treatment is designed to protect oral tissue and promote healing, offering a noninvasive way to improve SRP outcomes, Sage Dental said.
