DMG has released updated clinical protocols for its Icon resin infiltration system, now available in North America.
Updates include transillumination-based diagnostics; extended infiltration times; expanded pretreatment strategies, such as microabrasion and prewhitening; and a treatment planning guide.
The updates aim to deliver more predictable, conservative outcomes for patients with early enamel lesions and opacities, according to the company.
