SmileDirectClub has inked a partnership with Green Shield Canada, one of Canada's largest dental insurance providers.
Under terms of the deal, SmileDirectClub will provide Green Shield beneficiaries with its telehealth-based orthodontic care. The platform offers patients access to customer care teams via phone, video chat, email, or social media; patients can get started with a 3D scan taken at one of the company's brick-and-mortar SmileShops or with a prescribed remote impression kit, the company said.
