SoftSmile has launched Vision Concierge, a conversational AI agent built directly into its Vision orthodontic treatment planning platform and portal, allowing clinicians and staff to execute clinical tasks through plain-language text commands.
Rather than navigating menus or manually completing forms, users type a request -- "Retrieve a patient summary," "Translate records," "Autofill a form," or "Open the 3D treatment editor," -- and the agent executes the action instantly. The system has been trained on clinical orthodontic literature, established treatment protocols, and thousands of clinician-approved setups, and it adapts over time to each user's individual preferences, SoftSmile said in a press release.
SoftSmile describes Vision Concierge as the first step in a broader AI road map that can ultimately enable an agent capable of devising a complete treatment protocol autonomously -- from case analysis to final staging -- with the orthodontist retaining final approval at every step.
Vision Concierge is available now on the SoftSmile portal.
