All WooBamboo toothbrushes use dental-grade Dupont Tynex bristles in soft, supersoft, or medium textures. The handles are made from sustainable, organically grown, biodegradable, antimicrobial moso bamboo and coated with a natural wax to help keep them dry, according to the company.

To market the brushes to various organizations such as dental clinics and charities, WooBamboo also offers options like custom laser-etched handles and private-label packaging.

The company will mark its first birthday on Earth Day 2014, April 22, and its brand is widely available in the U.S. and the U.K., Canada, Holland, Germany, Honduras, Columbia, Norway, Trinidad, Lithuania, and Ukraine.
