Creditors of Allcare Dental & Dentures are expected to learn more about a bankruptcy filing by the chain that abruptly closed all of its offices in 13 states a year ago, leaving thousands of patients without care.
The first meeting of creditors is scheduled for December 12 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Buffalo, NY, according to an Associated Press story.
Allcare, which was based in Clarence, NY, filed for Chapter 7 liquidation last month. The filing listed no assets and liabilities of $3.6 million. The company plans to sell its assets to pay its debts.
