Colo. school may face $10 million suit; what makes a great assistant?

The University of Colorado Denver School of Dental Medicine continues to come under fire for some of its licensing and prescription guidelines. In a series of reports in the Denver Post, the school has been accused of allowing unlicensed dentists to oversee procedures in the university clinic and unauthorized individuals to write prescriptions -- and in fact has changed some of its policies as a result.

Now a patient who was treated at the clinic is reportedly preparing to file a $10 million lawsuit against the school, claiming she did not consent to the treatment she received and that no authorized dentist was in the room at the time. But does the Post have all its facts straight? Read more.
