Ann Marie Karaki of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) has been named president of the Association for Continuing Dental Education (ACDE).
Karaki serves as director of continuing dental education at the UAB School of Dentistry, expanding its continuing education programs.
The ACDE represents dental education providers from schools across the U.S. and Canada; its mission is to promote high standards in continuing education and public oral health.
