The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) has awarded mastery program scholarships to four dentists.
The scholarships aim to expand access to qualified dental sleep medicine providers in areas where patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) may have limited treatment options. Millions of adults have OSA, but only a fraction receive a diagnosis or treatment, according to the AADSM.
The 2025 scholarship recipients are:
- Dr. Emer Bajuelos in Ft. Wainwright, AK
- Dr. Miah Ramsey in St. Ignace, MI
- Dr. Matthew Van Hoof at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany
- Dr. Sarah Wood in Aurora, CO
