Philips Sonicare has launched the Next-Generation DiamondClean 9900 Prestige, the brand's first electric toothbrush powered by on-device AI and spatially aware real-time guidance, which are designed to show patients exactly how well they are brushing.

The toothbrush uses Sonicare's third-generation AI and machine-learning model to power a light ring guidance system that provides instant feedback on coverage, pressure, and scrubbing technique. A 12-segment on-device Mouth Map helps users identify missed areas without requiring a companion app. Smart pressure sensors automatically adjust intensity when a user presses too hard. The brush offers eight modes, three intensity settings, and it removes up to 20 times more plaque than a manual toothbrush, according to Philips.

Additional features include a quieter next-generation drivetrain introduced earlier this year across the 5000–7000 Series, Sonicare Fluid Action for deep interproximal cleaning, paper-based packaging, and brush heads made with 70% bio-based plastic. The toothbrush is available in Silver White, Satin Mauve and Quartz Black, with a rechargeable travel case and luxury charging glass.
